Church Staff

Office Manager Karen Greene has been at First Presbyterian Church since 1985.   In addition to normal secretarial and receptionist responsibilities, Karen manages the membership database and assists the various committees and organizations of the church.   She is very knowledgeable of all that goes on in the life of  our faith community, and is always willing to help.  She and her husband are members of Echo Hill Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids.

Barb Bjork has been the Financial Secretary at First Presbyterian Church in Marion since August 1997.   She tracks contributions and keeps the financial records of the church up to date.   Barb and her husband are members of First Presbyterian in Mount Vernon.

Judy Chapman, First Presbyterian Church organist since December 2002, received her BA in English from Houghton College and completed a major in Pipe Organ at Coe College in 2003. She has been actively involved in the musical life of the church and community as an accompanist and soloist, where she is equally comfortable with traditional and contemporary music. Judy has studied piano with teachers in New York and at Coe College.

Judy is employed by Graceland University as an administrative assistant for Graceland's graduate programs in Eastern Iowa in collaboration with Grant Wood AEA
